Can We Stop Saying “The New Normal” Now

28th December 2020 By theoriser Leave a Comment

There’s no point in contact continuously saying new normal because there is nothing normal about this “New normal”.

This 2020 has shown us a lot. With more than a crore case and over the Lac deceased with crippling blow to our economy, with subsequent lockdowns, there’s nothing normal about this “New normal”.

Constantly re iterating this statement of “the new normal” is just dreaming. As if we are trying to patronize our own selves by that or a possibility of going back to the previous way of things.

This language is rather a gimmicky marketing term, which creates a hope of the old ways to return. It gives us a certain sense of security, which is practically non-existent.

This new normal statement kind of sanitises the whole mayhem that has been going on for the past one year.

We should accept that there’s nothing normal about the global population standing isolated in their homes, that there’s nothing normal in markets getting closed, celebrations not happening, games getting played in empty stadium.

Rather than longing for something which will never come, we should utilize our inconvenience to change and start working for the future.

Accepting this morbid reality does not mean that this is normal.

Putting a label of normalcy to this entire scheme of things is just playing dumb. It’s like mediocritizing the whole struggle of humanity during this pandemic.

Coping and normalizing are two unique phenomena. We Should observe the situation draw inferences and adapt ourselves to thrive in this new scheme of things.

We need to go back to the drawing board and analyze what has happened in the past 12 months, where we are and what can we do in the next 6 months. We cannot be complacent and think wishfully that this will pass away and will go back to the old way of things

We should re-look at our endeavors, business, and decide whether they’re an asset or have they become a liability. Proper timely planning of an eventual exit might mean preserving the future and creating a new opportunity.

We should weigh both short term and long-term goals and prioritize meticulously. We have to expect the need for resiliency or to cut losses.

Surgical pragmatism is the way of things Now.

We should never try to do everything by our own selves. We should ask for help from experts so we can take judicious calls fortifying our future.

It is up to us; whether we keep on dreaming of the good old days and keep on hoping that they will come back and waste our time or we move ahead creating our own path. The situation is not in our control, but we do have the option of choice to act or not to act.

Dear reader, let’s not spend our time in dreaming. There’s nothing normal about this new normal, and it will never be the old normal again.

Review of "The Lean Startup” by Eric Ries

Dear reader, Imagine that you in those disaster type movies where you are driving an open jeep and the bridge or the freeway you are on is shaking like you are in an earthquake.

You must drive and reach your destination to save the day. Sounds quite intimidating, right? That driving a start-up to success is

4 Reasons You should Stop your Positive thinking Jibe Right now

Dear reader, the horde of Good morning Posts with Positivity and positive thinking you get to see on Instagram and Facebook and now on WhatsApp., with so much jibe about positivity all around you, don’t you think people must feel very positive right?

The idea is like people having so much cakes and desserts and chocolates; It makes them sweet and nice.

But you will agree this is pure stupidity, then why stuffing ourselves with positivity fluff is not.

Had the positive thinking movement worked, we wouldn’t be so miserable and you would search for a different perspective.

Heck!; You wouldn’t be here in this corner of the internet and reading this post about ramblings against overtly sugary positivity spam.

The whole thing does not work, and it harms you like those sugary delights you keep on having thinking you are having “Health Bars”. Please spare yourselves, you are just fooling yourself here.
